ABOUT THE ARTIST

Lito Akari — multi-dimensional hustler and producer with roots in Berlin and Istanbul — delivers laid-back joints infused with elements of neo-soul, jazz, and G-funk. Working largely sample-free, his productions favor warm textures and beat-driven arrangements. As part of Berlin’s artist collective Block Opera, Lito has collaborated with acclaimed producers such as Dexter, Smoke Trees, and other artists from the contemporary jazz- and hip-hop-influenced beat scene.
